As of today, Monday, September 7, I have three train shifts left.

We are currently on the bus headed to Portage to catch the train to Whittier. We will pick up cruise passengers and take them to Denali. It will be a long day.

Tomorrow we will bus back to Anchorage. Tuesday we are off and then Wednesday/Thursday will be my last run.

I am excited because my daughters and grandsons are coming to visit this weekend! It is a surprise for Henry. Natasha’s nine year old son. He will be so excited.

In proper Grandma fashion, I have purchased numerous gifts for them and stashed away some spending money for them.

I have some fun things planned as well as some time to explore as we wish.

I hope it instills a sense of adventure in the boys and gives them the curiosity and courage to explore the world as they get older.
