Off the Rails in Alaska

Join me on a journey through my adventurous summer in Alaska – where work meets wilderness and every day is a wild ride!

Bracelets and Sweet Children

I am nearing the end of the Alaska friendship bracelets I’ve been making and giving away occasionally. It’s not as much fun as it was at first.

However, on Tuesday, I gave one each to these twin kindergartners. They were such sweet kids and so well behaved and polite.

They each wrote me a note and drew me a picture. When the little boy gave me his note, I knelt down at his level and he stared at me with that happy and proud smile. It was adorable 🥰.

I wrote them a note back wishing them well in kindergarten and to keep being nice people because the world needs that ❤️

  1. Keep on keeping on Deb. This has been more than just a bump in the road, but rather a really rough patch. Keep the faith and come back to Colorado.
