Off the Rails in Alaska

Yesterday we went to the Dimond Mall (spelled correctly fyi) It reminded me of when my Grandma would walk the mall in Cheyenne for exercise and we’d meet up with her. It is a great memory. This mall is definitely not the Park Meadows mall I’m used to. Plus I hate malls. But I needed work pants so we had to shop. The first pic is Derek by the ice rink. This rink reminded me of Clackamas Town Center in Oregon. A suburb of Portland. The city that made me realize how much I love a big city.

There are pull tab places everywhere here in Alaska. You buy a card and pull the tab to see if you won. It’s a fundraising thing for different charities. We didn’t win.

If the government wants to get involved in something, PLEASE standardize women’s clothing sizes. I wear a four in my favorite jeans which translates to a twelve in Old Navy dress pants.

For some reason people struggle with the name “Deb”. The Maurice’s lady asked me three times. She wrote “this”Del”.

And finally a beautiful Mountain View.
